Terms of Service

1. About This Platform

Tickets.btaqa is an online ticketing platform operated by 808Studio (“we”, “us”, “platform”). We provide technology that connects event organisers (“Organisers”) with ticket buyers (“Attendees”). We are a technology intermediary only — we are not the organiser of any event listed on this platform.

2. Our Role as Intermediary

• Tickets.btaqa acts solely as a technology platform facilitating ticket sales between Organisers and Attendees.
• The contract for ticket purchase is between the Attendee and the Organiser. Tickets.btaqa is not a party to that contract.
• Organisers are solely responsible for the event, its content, accuracy of event information, and fulfilment of tickets.
• Tickets.btaqa is not liable for cancelled, postponed, or materially changed events.

3. For Organisers

By creating an account and listing events on Tickets.btaqa, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete event information including date, time, location, and ticket details.
• Connect your own Mollie account to receive payments directly from Attendees.
• Be solely responsible for processing refunds to Attendees for cancelled or materially changed events.
• Comply with all applicable laws including consumer protection, data protection, and tax regulations.
• Not list events that are illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or violate any third-party rights.
• Understand that Tickets.btaqa charges a service fee per ticket sold via Application Fees through Mollie. This fee is deducted automatically from each payment.
• Be responsible for issuing VAT invoices to Attendees where required by law.

4. For Attendees

By purchasing a ticket through Tickets.btaqa, you agree to:

• Provide accurate personal information including your name and email address.
• Understand that your ticket purchase contract is with the Organiser, not with Tickets.btaqa.
• Contact the Organiser directly for any questions about the event, refunds, or changes.
• Understand that the Tickets.btaqa service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances (see Refund Policy).

5. Service Fees

Tickets.btaqa charges a service fee on each ticket sold:

• Tickets priced at €15.00 or above: flat fee of €1.50 per ticket
• Tickets priced below €15.00: 10% of the ticket price

This fee is shown transparently at checkout before payment. The service fee is non-refundable.

6. Payments

All payments are processed through Mollie. Organisers receive funds directly in their own Mollie account. Tickets.btaqa never holds Attendee funds and is not a payment service provider.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform, including the Tickets.btaqa name, logo, and design, is the property of 808Studio. Event content (images, descriptions) remains the property of the respective Organiser.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch and EU law:

• Tickets.btaqa is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from events listed on the platform.
• Tickets.btaqa is not liable for the actions or omissions of Organisers.
• Our total liability is limited to the service fees collected on the relevant transaction.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
